Rainy weather expected to persist until May 5

The rainy weather will continue next week, more exactly until May 5. Rainstorms with thunder and lightning are forecast for May 3 and 4.

Contacted by IPN for details, Ala Bârsa, forecaster of the State Hydrometeorological Service, said it is normal for the temperatures to decline following the precipitation of the last few days, but the declines are insignificant and are within seasonal limits.

Daytime temperatures during the next few days will decline gradually, to 17 degrees Celsius towards next weekend. Nighttime temperatures will vary around 7 degrees Celsius.

Repair work on Mitropolit Dosoftei Street in the capital, on the section between Henri Coandă and Mihai Viteazul streets, will begin on Wednesday, July 22. According to municipal authorities, traffic will be partially restricted until August 30, with lanes being closed in stages, IPN reports.

The work includes resurfacing the road, replacing curbs, repairing sidewalks, and creating new parking spaces.

The city urges drivers to obey the temporary traffic signs in place during the construction work and to exercise caution in the construction zone.

At the same time, drivers are urged to choose alternative routes whenever possible to avoid traffic jams and facilitate the progress of the work.
