The festival “Te salut, Chisinau!” brought to the center of the capital artistic performances, activities for children and adults, traditional crafts, local gastronomy and stands of municipal institutions. The celebration continues this evening, starting at 06:00 P.M., also on the pedestrian street Eugen Doga, with new activities dedicated to the 589th anniversary of the first documentary attestation of the city, IPN reports.

The General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport presented the educational offer of the educational institutions in the municipality, while the Municipal Center for Adult Learning and Education provided information about free vocational training courses. The Municipal Youth Centres presented activities dedicated to personal development and youth involvement, and the out-of-school centres organized creative workshops for children.

Municipal directorates provided information about children’s rights, health services available in the capital and support for young entrepreneurs”.

The “B.P. Hasdeu” Library participated in the festival with a range of cultural and educational activities, from reading clubs to access to digital resources, while the Chisinau City History Museum provided visitors with information about the capital’s past.

The 5th edition of the “Te salut, Chisinau!” festival is organized on 18, 19 and 20 July to celebrate the cultural diversity of the city, its history and traditions.
