A patient at the Stefan Voda District Hospital went out on the ward’s balcony and climbed onto a cable located between the third and fourth floors of the building. According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, he was in danger of falling, necessitating the intervention of rescuers to bring him back safely inside the hospital, reports IPN.
At the scene, rescuers and firefighters from Stefan Voda intervened. They managed to reach the 63-year-old man and bring him back safely inside the hospital through the balcony on the third floor of the five-story building.
Subsequently, the man was taken over by the medical staff to provide the necessary care. The circumstances in which the incident occurred are to be determined by the competent authorities.
