The Moldovan U17 national football team drew their second match in the preliminary rounds of the European Championship, 2025/2026 edition. The match played on Saturday, October 11, against the Norwegian team ended with a score of 1-1, reports IPN.
The match was played at the KRC Genk Arena in Belgium, the host of the mini-tournament. For the tricolors, Cristian Palancica scored in the 25th minute, while the Norwegians equalized through Aleksander Lilletun Elvebu, in the stoppage time of the first half (45+3).
The Moldova U17 national team is participating in the first round of the preliminary qualifiers for the EURO U-17. The students trained by Andrei Radiola are part of Group 5, alongside Belgium, Norway, and Belarus.
In the first match, held on October 8, Moldova was defeated by the Belgian team with a score of 1-0. The next game, the third in this round, will take place on October 14, against Belarus. The match is scheduled for 4:00 PM, at the Stedelijk Stadium in Hasselt.
