Moldova Post has resumed the dispatch and receipt of postal items to and from Israel, after more than a month since their suspension in the context of the interruption of air traffic to this destination, reports IPN.
According to the company, the dispatch and receipt of all types of postal shipments – letters, parcels, and EMS shipments are resumed.
On March 4, the dispatch and reception of postal items were suspended for Israel and seven other Middle Eastern countries – Iraq, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, and Bahrain. The measure was taken against the backdrop of security risks in the Middle East, intensified by the attack of Israel and the USA on Iran on February 28.
