Senior Iranian officials are reportedly holding secret talks with Russia about a possible evacuation in the event of military escalation. According to Iran International, Ali Asghar Hejazi, deputy chief of staff to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, received personal assurances from Moscow regarding a safe evacuation route for himself and his family.
The discussions intensified after Israel launched large-scale airstrikes on Iranian territory on June 13. The attacks targeted strategic and scientific sites, including nuclear infrastructure. Several high-ranking Iranian officials linked to the nuclear program were reportedly killed.
In response, Tehran fired hundreds of ballistic missiles at Israel. According to Israeli authorities, at least 13 civilians were killed and hundreds injured. On the same day, Iran officially declared its willingness to sign an agreement renouncing nuclear weapons.
