The price of standard diesel exceeds 25 lei per liter, after the National Agency for Energy Regulation announced a price increase of 64 bani for Friday. The maximum pump price for 95 octane gasoline increases by 33 bani, approaching 26 lei, reports IPN.
Thus, a liter of standard type diesel will be sold on Friday for 25.47 lei and COR 95 gasoline will cost 25.80 lei.
The new ceiling rates approved by ANRE foresee substantial daily increases in fuel prices starting from the beginning of March. Since then, diesel has become more expensive by over 4.5 lei and gasoline – by almost 2 lei. The Agency explained that military actions in the Persian Gulf significantly influence the prices of oil and its derivatives.
