Air operations from several Middle Eastern countries have partially resumed. A flight on the Dubai-Chisinau route is expected to land at Chisinau International Airport around 15 o’clock. The information was communicated by the Crisis Cell of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which continues to monitor security developments in the region, reports IPN.

The security situation in the United Arab Emirates is constantly monitored, and the infrastructure and public services operate normally, with restrictions on some commercial flights, announces the MAE. The embassy is considering evacuation options for registered citizens. Meanwhile, in Qatar, the airspace is partially reopened, but air operations remain limited. The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Doha continues to manage consular requests. Also, the embassies in Baku and Ankara maintain contact with the authorities and Moldovan citizens, to ensure updated information and consular support, notes the MAE.

The Israeli authorities maintain the restrictions of the Home Front Command until Monday, March 9, at 08:00 PM. Ben Gurion Airport will gradually resume international flights starting from March 8, for the companies El Al, Israir, Arkia, and Air Haifa, with limited capacity.
