An auxiliary building in the city of Bălți caught fire this morning. The room was used for storing wood, and firefighters on the scene determined that there was a risk of the fire spreading to a nearby five-story residential building, reports IPN.
The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations specifies that the call to 112 arrived around 06:00 AM. Five firefighter and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene, who managed to localize the flames in approximately half an hour. Close to 08:00 AM, the fire was completely extinguished.
According to IGSU, no victims have been reported. The fire completely burned the building with an area of 120 square meters. The cause and circumstances are to be determined later.
