CNAS has begun funding pension and social benefit payments for November

The National Social Insurance House (CNAS) has begun funding pension and social benefit payments for November, with an initial allocation of 73 million lei. The funds will be transferred to recipients in several stages, depending on the type of benefit, IPN reports.

According to the National Social Insurance House, funds for pensions and social allowances paid through banks will be disbursed on November 3. Funds for individual allowances and monthly state allowances will be disbursed on November 9, while social assistance payments will be funded on November 13.

Temporary incapacity benefits, maternity benefits, one-off childbirth allowances, childcare benefits, benefits for raising twins, and paternity benefits will be funded in three instalments, on 6, 13 and 23 November.

Recipients can receive their social benefits on a bank card, including by linking an existing account to their benefits in the EVO app, or collect the money from any post office in the country.

CNAS warns that people who choose to receive their payments through post offices must collect them within three months. Otherwise, payments will be suspended.

To resume receiving payments, beneficiaries must visit their local Territorial Social Insurance Office with their identity card and submit an application.
