Tatiana Nistorica has been released from her position as Secretary of State for the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry. A decision in this regard was approved on Wednesday by the Government, at the proposal of Minister Radu Musteata, reports IPN.
At the presentation of the proposal for dismissal, the new Minister of Agriculture did not provide details regarding the reasons for the decision. The procedure had been initiated earlier by the former minister Ludmila Catlabuga, following the arrest of the Secretary of State in a corruption case.

According to law enforcement, the entrepreneur allegedly offered money to influence the decisions of the National Agency for Food Safety regarding the resumption of fodder imports from Ukraine, which had previously been suspended due to the detection of irregularities.
