The first Ukrainian drone factory was opened in the United Kingdom. The Ukrainian Ambassador to London, Valerii Zalujnii, specified that the factory is a production complex of the private Ukrainian company Ukrspecsystems. According to him, the drones of this company have already demonstrated remarkable efficiency in the conditions of a high-tech war, reports IPN.

Valerii Zalujnii emphasized that Ukrainian engineers are developing solutions inspired by frontline experience to counteract the attacks of the Russian army. According to the ambassador, launching production in the United Kingdom does not shift the center of gravity from Ukraine, but extends joint capabilities and creates a second circuit of resilience, ensuring the continuity of defense production.

Ukraine’s defense industry has experienced rapid growth over the past four years, since the large-scale Russian invasion. This year, its production capacity is estimated at 50-55 billion dollars, covering over 50% of the needs of the Ukrainian army, writes Reuters.
