The Ocnita District Hospital has completed a modernization project aimed at improving access to the Infectious Diseases Department, where over 500 patients are admitted annually, reports IPN.
With a total budget of 1.1 million lei, financed 85% from mandatory health insurance funds, the project included the repair of access roads and the base of the Infectious Diseases Department, Block B, as well as the construction of a shade house.
The National Medical Insurance Company emphasizes that the modernization of infrastructure will contribute to the improvement of conditions for patients, including ensuring access for people with reduced mobility.
The contribution of the local authorities was 122 thousand lei, and the hospital allocated 100 thousand lei for this project.
