Causeni is hosting today a series of events dedicated to Europe Day, under the theme: “Peace, prosperity, dignity – Europe is you!”. The events will take place in Stefan cel Mare Square, starting at 15:00. According to the organizers, the community is invited to join the events celebrating European values, cultural diversity and the united spirit of Europe, IPN reports.
One of the main attractions will be the “European Little Town”, which will open at 15:00, where visitors will be able to discover the traditions and culture of the European Union Member States. The “United in Diversity” alley will feature cultural presentations, tastings of authentic European cuisine, interactive activities, competitions and workshops for all ages. In the “European Memories” area there will be a special photo location and in the “EU for Moldova: Stronger Together” will showcase European projects and opportunities for citizens.
The Youth Hub, a space dedicated to creative and educational activities, will be open for young people. Participants will be able to learn about opportunities offered by non-governmental organizations in Moldova, from volunteering initiatives to national and international projects.
Seniors are also honored at the event. The space for them, active during the same time slot, will offer music and dancing in a festive and relaxing setting.
Children are guaranteed to have fun in the children’s area, where there will be drawing competitions, jigsaw and board games, sports activities and face painting.
The evening will end with a Europe Day concert from 18:00 to 21:00. Artists such as Valeria Pasha, Pasha Parfeni and the band Zdob și Zdub will perform on stage and the events are free of charge.
