Iulian Luchin ranked 96th out of 111 in the 10 km cross-country skiing event, at his debut in the Winter Olympic Games, reports IPN.
The young Moldovan, aged 21, finished with a time of 26:51, being six minutes and 14 seconds behind the new Olympic champion, the Norwegian – Johannes Klaebo, who won with 20:36.2.
The silver medal was awarded to the Frenchman Mathis Desloges (20:41.1), while the bronze was won by Einar Hedegart (20:50.2).
