Three employees of Moldatsa were detained following the 25 searches conducted today by the National Anti-Corruption Center. According to the CNA, this is a case of abuse of power targeting decision-making individuals within the state enterprise, reports IPN.

The investigations target alleged acts committed from 2024 to the present. According to the investigators, the individuals under investigation would have acted contrary to their job duties, in personal interest or in the benefit of third parties, causing the company a damage considered particularly large.

CNA specifies that several irregularities have been found in the management of assets and the administration of human and financial resources. Among these are alleged violations of public procurement procedures, the organization of fictitious competitions for vacant positions, the unjustified granting of awards and salary increases, as well as the improper accumulation of functions. Also, the organization of training sessions that would have generated unjustified expenses from the company’s budget is being checked.

The institution specifies that the searches were carried out at the homes and work offices of the persons concerned, in order to collect evidence relevant to the criminal case.
