Over 11 thousand voters have used their voting rights certificate in the election of September 28th

Approximately 5,000 voters have declared their new place of residence for the parliamentary elections on September 28, according to data from the Central Electoral Commission. This procedure has allowed them to change their polling station, in case they have changed their place of residence since their last participation in an election, reports IPN.

For voters who were unable to declare their new residence by the deadline (September 3), the legislation allowed the request for a voting rights certificate, which gave them the opportunity to vote at any polling station.

In total, 11,733 voters requested such certificates, and 11,099 of them used them on election day.

Repair work on Mitropolit Dosoftei Street in the capital, on the section between Henri Coandă and Mihai Viteazul streets, will begin on Wednesday, July 22. According to municipal authorities, traffic will be partially restricted until August 30, with lanes being closed in stages, IPN reports.

The work includes resurfacing the road, replacing curbs, repairing sidewalks, and creating new parking spaces.

The city urges drivers to obey the temporary traffic signs in place during the construction work and to exercise caution in the construction zone.

At the same time, drivers are urged to choose alternative routes whenever possible to avoid traffic jams and facilitate the progress of the work.
