Individuals have invested 6.8 million lei in the current subscription for the issuance of state securities. Over the course of five subscription days, 171 investors made 214 transactions, reports IPN.

The Ministry of Finance specifies that the funds have been invested in 2-year bonds, with an annual interest rate of 6.60%, and in 4-year bonds, with an annual interest rate of 6.90%.

Starting from April, the Ministry of Finance has established a monthly frequency for VMS issues. The interest rate is fixed, and payments are made semi-annually, directly into the bank accounts of the investors.

The current subscription is announced for the period of September 8-17.

Tatiana Nistorica has been released from her position as Secretary of State for the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry. A decision in this regard was approved on Wednesday by the Government, at the proposal of Minister Radu Musteata, reports IPN.

At the presentation of the proposal for dismissal, the new Minister of Agriculture did not provide details regarding the reasons for the decision. The procedure had been initiated earlier by the former minister Ludmila Catlabuga, following the arrest of the Secretary of State in a corruption case.

Tatiana Nistorică was detained and placed under arrest in a corruption case, in which a representative of a business entity is also being investigated. According to law enforcement, the entrepreneur allegedly offered money to influence the decisions of the National Agency for Food Safety regarding the resumption of fodder imports from Ukraine, which had previously been suspended due to the detection of irregularities.
