As the public opinion, including in the social media and at the level of parties, is not at all satisfied with the way in which the authorities justify the expulsion of a group of Turks from the Republic of Moldova, the spokesman for the DemocraticParty of Moldova (PDM) Vitalie Gamurari appeared on TV and said that “if offense elements had existed, the seven persons of Turkish origin wouldn’t have been expelled, but arrested  and charged, spokesman”. We can thus conclude that the Turks from “Orizont” Lyceum indeed didn’t commit something reproachable in the Republic of Moldova. Moreover, a negative answer can be assumed to the question: did the Turkish state make any official approach against them? And we can also inquire if the PDM has something to do with all this?

There is fuss in the Liberal camp too. Seven parties and associated entities had a first discussion on a possible unionist or Euro-unionist electoral political project. In a posting on her personal blog, the leader of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Vitalia Pavlichenko wrote that after the seven parties took the first step to initiate a political-electoral dialogue, it would be an example of maturity if the PL, PUN and PLDM show interest and willingness to have a dialogue for forming a platform or a “bloc of the 10” that would include Liberal Democratic Party, the Liberal Party, the Liberal Reformist Party, the National Liberal Party, the National Unity Party, the People’s Party, the Green Ecologist Party, the Party “Democracy at Home” and the People’s Will Party.

It could be a start, but the IPN Experts discovered that the recent statement made by the first deputy chairman of the Liberal Party Dorin Chirtoacă that “the PL was created two years after Moldova declared its independence and this set the goal of reunifying the divided Great Romania?” is not true, as is the Liberal leader Mihai Ghimpu’s assertion that “the PL was the first party that included the “union” in its statutes”.

The experts argue that only one of the ten parties openly declared it was a unionist one and this party even confronted the Communist government in 2007 – 2009 so as to have the unionist clause stipulated in its statutes and program. This is the National Liberal Party (PNL) that, alongside the European Action Movement (MAR), in the parliamentary election campaign of March 2009 launched the Soroca Manifesto by which it invited the parties that consider themselves “reformist and national” to openly embrace the Romanian ideal.

Not only politics, but also the healthcare system of Moldova, this time, should be censed to drive away evil spirits. The Cabinet approved a plan of action for preventing and fighting corruption in healthcare for 2018-2020. Among the planned measures are the improvement of access to information, ensuring of transparency in the decision-making process at health facilities, permanent monitoring of the integrity of institutions from the health system and promotion of a climate of integrity and meritocracy among employees.

Thinking about the wellbeing of students, Prime Minister Pavel Filip requested Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Liviu Volconovici to annul the order to transfer students of the Agrarian University who were earlier lodged at the dorm on Pushkin St to other dorms. The three dorms were to be conceded to a construction company that was to erect a multistory building in their place. The minister was also criticized for not presenting measures to fight ambrosia, being recommended to inspire himself by a law adopted in Romania.

Also, the administration of the Customs Service was requested, following a complaint about the levying of an evidently exaggerated customs tax, to make sure that the people who do not know how to work with the citizens do not work in the public service.
