Moldova and Israel have signed a memorandum of cooperation to strengthen economic and entrepreneurial relations, within the framework of the International Business Forum “Moldova – Israel”. The document marks the beginning of extensive cooperation between the two countries’ business circles and opens up opportunities for innovation, investment and job creation, IPN reports.

The Memorandum was signed by Vasile Tarlev, President of the National Congress of Moldovan Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and Ronnie Brik, President of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Israel. The agreement aims to promote innovative technologies, improve construction safety and strengthen interstate entrepreneurial ties.

The agreed objectives include facilitating the transfer of knowledge and technology, involving Israeli start-ups in projects in Moldova and creating common platforms for cooperation between Moldovan and Israeli companies. The document also foresees the adoption of international practices for safety on construction sites and the development of integrated Moldovan-Israeli enterprises.

In his speech, Vasile Tarlev highlighted Moldova’s potential to become an attractive center for investment. He emphasized that this partnership can help create stable jobs for young people in the country and for those in the diaspora who want to return home.

For his part, Ronnie Brik emphasized the importance of this collaboration for the development of a long-term economic relationship. He noted that the purpose of the partnership is not limited to attracting labor, but includes building a solid and sustainable business dialog that will benefit both sides for years to come.

The event that hosted the signing of the memorandum brought together officials, entrepreneurs and experts from both countries, with the aim of strengthening Moldovan-Israeli economic relations and exploring new directions of cooperation.
