The election campaign has started in Moldova by the will of Vlad Filat and Vladimir Voronin. Only the election day is to be set. Thus, the PLDM is not interested in forming a new government. In reality, they work on the early elections, the deputy chairman of the Liberal Party Valeriu Munteanu said in the program “Fabrika” on PublikaTV channel, IPN reports.
According to Valeriu Munteanu, the negotiation process hasn’t yet started and the first attempt to vote in the new Government will be made on May 30. “It will be a decorative list. Those candidates will not gain the necessary number of votes. I’m absolutely sure that the Constitutional Court will pass a correct and explicit judgment. My feeling is that Parliament should immediately start to elect the Speaker,” he stated.
Former deputy minister of justice Nicolae Esanu said that Moldova does not come closer to the target to which many citizens aspire because what is going on at present represents regression and a number of state institutions discredit themselves. “The Constitutional Court sees two Governments. We can witness a disaster. The problem is simple: a parliamentary majority is created or we will have early elections,” he said.
In the same connection, the former deputy minister stated that the problem of avoidance of early elections is a false one as Moldova is already in an election campaign and it is only the date of elections that is to be decided.
