The medical and non-medical personnel will benefit from a salary supplement for working night shifts – between 22.00 and 6.00 a.m. A regulation to this effect was approved by the Government on Wednesday, IPN reports.

“The maximum amount to be offered for a night shift constitutes 1000 lei, money that will be added to the existing salary package,” said the Minister of health, labour and social protection Ala Nemerenco.

Middle-level medical personnel will have a supplement of up to 500 lei, while technical staff – 380 lei. In district level institutions, the amount of the supplement will constitute 700 lei for doctors, 380 lei for middle-level medical personnel and 200 lei for the technical staff.

By another decision, in order to eliminate discrimination, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the equivalence of the position salaries of the medical personnel from the narcology service with those of the medical personnel from the psychiatry service.

Teachers will feel the salary increase starting from October, following the Government’s approval of the budgetary-fiscal policy and the new wage law. The announcement was made by the Minister of Education and Research, Dan Perciun, who specified that the authorities aim to adopt the two documents during the period of August-September, reports IPN.

According to the minister, the salaries for the month of September are paid in October, so that the teaching staff should then benefit from the first increased wages.

“We are trying to stick to our previous commitment regarding wage increases. After the fiscal-budgetary policy will be presented, the wage law will follow. At the same time, I would like to have more time for discussions related to the performance bonus that I would like to consult more with the system,” declared Dan Perciun during the “Rezoomat” show on RealitateaTV.

The Minister specified that salary increases will vary between 10% and 15%, depending on the teaching grade, and will be calculated on the total income of the teachers, including the bonuses they currently benefit from.

“Salary increases will vary from 10% to 15% depending on the educational level, but we are talking about the entire current income of the educational staff, including bonuses, to which we add another 10-15% and additionally to this increase some will also benefit from a performance bonus of up to 15%. So, for some, salaries could increase by up to 30%”, explained Dan Perciun.

The Central Electoral Commission proposes to the Constitutional Court the validation of the deputy mandate of Roman Rosca, substitute candidate on the lists of the Action and Solidarity Party. The decision comes after the resignation of deputy Alexandr Trubca, reports IPN.

Roman Rosca ranked 72nd on the PAS lists in the 2025 parliamentary elections. Originally from the left bank of the Dniester, he is a professional lawyer and has previously worked in the Police. He became a deputy in 2022, during which time he led the Special Commission for Reintegration. Subsequently, he also held the position of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration in the Recean Government.

The deputy mandate became vacant after Alexandr Trubca announced his resignation from Parliament, following controversies related to a real estate investment in Trușeni commune. Trubca argued that the investment is legal and does not generate a conflict of interest, however, he stated that the situation affects the image and credibility of the party he is part of.

The Constitutional Court is set to examine the notification of the Central Electoral Commission and to rule on the validation of the deputy mandate that falls to Roman Rosca.
