The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu wants as close relations as possible with Romania. In the context of the presidential election in the neighboring country, she said that she wants Romania to remain a firm partner in the European Union, IPN reports.

“I want Romania to be a strong voice in the European Union. I do not want it to leave the EU or, worse, to become an anti-European state. It is important for us and for Romania to continue on our path, and the EU is the best option for us and for Romania,” the head of state stated in the program “New Week” on TV8.

Maia Sandu said that at the presidential election in Romania, she supports the independent candidate Nicușor Dan. “I announced that I will vote for Nicusor Dan and I can explain why. He has repeatedly stated that he will support Moldova, and the projects we have started will continue. Nicușor Dan said that he will support the European development course of the Republic of Moldova,” said the official.

At the same time, the head of state criticized the positions of Nicusor Dan’s opponent. “On the other hand, the other candidate said that he will stop any aid for Moldova, that we are a monster. I think it is clear to everyone who we should vote for. I hope that the Moldovans who have Romanian citizenship understand how important these elections are,” said Maia Sandu.

The head of state commented on the ban on entry into the Republic of Moldova imposed on the AUR leader George Simion, given that a court in Chisinau on May 19 is to examine Simion’s request to cancel the measure.

“It is not the President’s Office that imposed this ban and it is not the President’s Office that will lift it,” noted Maia Sandu.

The second round of the presidential election in Romania will take place on May 18. In the diaspora, including in the Republic of Moldova, voting will be held for three days: on May 16, 17 and 18.

Young specialists in the field of culture can submit their applications for employment and allocation in relevant public institutions. The Ministry of Culture announces that they can benefit from unique allowances of up to 120 thousand lei if they will take up the vacant positions announced by the institution, reports IPN.

The list of available positions includes roles such as artistic director, conductor, choreographer, actor, director, accompanist, museographer, librarian, and sound operator. These are distributed in public cultural institutions across the country.

Graduates of higher education institutions in the field can receive a grant of 120 thousand lei, and those of colleges – 90 thousand lei. The payment is made over the first three years of activity, in three equal installments.

For allocation, young people must submit a file that includes their identification document, the allocation request, educational documents, and other necessary papers. Graduates who have studied abroad must also present the certificate of recognition and equivalence of studies.

Applications can be submitted until August 21, in physical or electronic format. The list published by the Ministry of Culture includes 110 vacant positions in the public cultural institutions of the local public administration authorities and the Ministry of Culture.
