60% of voters decided who they will vote for in November elections

60% of the voters took already the decision who they will vote for in the November 30 legislative elections. 9% of those polled said they will probably decide on the election day. If elections were held next Sunday, five parties would enter Parliament. The PCRM would win 21.2% of the vote, the PLDM – 17.8%, the PDM – 12.9%, the Political Party “Motherland” – 9.6%, while the Liberal Party – 7.3%. 10.8% of the respondents are undecided, while 11.3% could not give an answer. These are the results of an opinion poll commissioned by IPN News Agency to the Marketing and Poling Institute IMAS, IPN reports.

In a news conference on November 13, IMAS director Doru Petrutsi said the poll involved only persons who said they are interested in the elections and will take part in them. The fact that 60% of the voters decided who to vote for means that the other 40% will take a decision over the next two weeks. Thus, the situation can yet change.

Most of the respondents believe that the PDM is the most active party in the current election campaign, but the PLDM’s campaign is considered as the most attractive. The poll also shows that the people watch the political debates and 51% of those questioned said that have an increased interest in them.

The poll “Perspective of the active Moldovan voters before the parliamentary elections II” was carried out between Novembr 1 and 10. The margin of sampling error is plus-minus 3.1%.
