Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenski believes that the victory of the Ukrainians in the war started by Russia will have an impact on the situation in Moldova, Belarus and Georgia, GordonUA reported.
Zelenskyy declared this in an interview with TV host Natalia Moseichuk, commenting on remarks made by the Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya in a separate interview. In it, Moseichuk asks Tsikhanouskaya what she thinks about the idea of one day enlisting the help of Zelensky, as Ukraine’s commander-in-chief, to liberate Belarus.
“I wouldn’t rule it out”, Tsikhanouskaya replies. Commenting on this, Zelenskyy said: “Frankly, I think the Ukrainian victory will solve it all. And I am very happy for the societies of these countries. Not only of Belarus. I’m also talking about currently separated Moldova, and Georgia as well”.
“I am confident that Ukraine’s victory will enable political democratic solutions, which will make it possible to reintegrate Georgia and also Moldova. Belarus, too. So, Mrs. Tsikhanouskaya should take the foreign military scenario off her mind”, said the Ukrainian leader.
GordonUA recalled that in early June, Zelenskyy declared Ukraine could help Moldova solve the problem of the unrecognized Transnistrian region if only Chisinau asked.
