A 28-year-old man suffered serious internal organ traumas when in the epicenter of an explosion, Chisinau Ambulance Service coordinating doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo. According to the doctor, the incident happened in the yard of a house situated on Hanul Morii St in Chisinau’s Botanica district on July 19. The young man decided to saw a cylinder in which there had been kept an inflammable solution. While cutting it, the cylinder exploded. A piece of it burned the skin and muscles on the abdomen and a part of the liver. Other internal organs were also affected. The man was rushed to the Emergency Hospital in a serious condition. A 34-year-old woman living on Muncesti St jumped through the window from the first floor when she saw persons with masks in her house. She was hospitalized with an open fracture of the right shank. A woman, 53, was stabbed by her husband while at their villa near Tohatin village. On Monday, July 19, the Chisinau Ambulance Service dealt with 825 calls, including 78 cases of acute viral infection, 81 cases of trauma, 4 strokes and 27 deliveries.
