A man aged 30 drowned last night in a lake in Lucesti village of Cahul district. It was preliminarily established that the fisherman was on a boat together with another two men. The boat overturned as a result of an unsuccessful maneuver. The two managed to swim out, while the third man got stuck in a fishing net and drowned, IPN reports.

According to the General Inspectorate for Emergences, frogmen started an operation to recover the body in the morning of April 18 after it became known that the man didn’t return home.

The circumstances of the case are yet to be found out. The rescuers urge to call 112 in emergencies.
