Forecasters issued a yellow code warning for unstable weather for the period between the evening of August 5 and the evening of August 6.
Showers with thunder and lighting, in parts heavy (15-35 l/m2) and with hail and high winds of 15-20 m/s, are expected in the period, IPN reports.
According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, temperatures on the night of August 6 will vary between +18 and +23 degrees Celsius. In Chisinau, they will oscillate between +20 and +22 degrees Celsius.
During the day, the temperatures will increase to +31 degrees Celsius in the country, while in Chisinau to 29 degrees Celsius.
No precipitation was forecast for August 7.
