Weather forecasters extended the yellow code advisory about the melting of ice on lakes and rivers until March 12 in connection with the sudden rise in temperatures. The ice becomes frail and walking on this is dangerous. The winter fishing amateurs are urged to be prudent, while the parents are strongly advised to supervise their children, IPN reports.
The State Hydrometeorological Service said there will be intensive leakages on inclines with the risk of local flooding. The business entities managing accumulation lakes are warned to draw attention to the state of levees.
Daytime temperatures during the next few days will rise to +14 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures to +5 degrees Celsius.
