Weather forecasters issued a yellow code advisory for heavy rain with thunder and lightning, in parts with high winds of 15-20 m/s, for northern and central Moldova for the period until 11pm on September 22, IPN reports.
According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, the lowest temperatures the coming night will be of 12 degrees Celsius in the northern districts, 14 degrees Celsius in the central districts and 16 degrees Celsius in the southern ones.
On September 23, the highest temperatures will range between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius. Torrential rain with thunder and lightning is also forecast.
The yellow code advisory for hydrological drought in rivers and lakes is valid for the period until September 25. The exceptional risk of fire will persist until September 26.
