The Greco-Roman wrestler Gabriel Lupașco has qualified for the final of the World Cadet Wrestling Championships, which takes place in Bulgaria, IPN reports.

On his way to championship in the 80 kg category, Lupașco has prevailed over Rohit Rohit (India), Beka Kobuladze (Georgia), JonniKunnari Sarkkinen (Finland) and Maksat Sailau (Kazakhstan).

In the last act, Gabriel Lupașco will face Ukrain’s Mykyta Alieksieiev.

In the 71 kg category, Moldova is represented by the defending world champion Alexandrin Guțu.
