Chişinău.05.04.06.Info-Prim Neo/oxa/ World Bank allotted to Moldova ten million dollars for purchasing didactic materials and performing equipment for schools of rural areas. An agreement in this sense was concluded today by the minister of Finance, Mihai Pop, and regional director for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova of the WB, Paul Birmingham. World Bank official stated at the signing ceremony that 5 million dollars are offered in facilitatating conditions, and the other 5 million as grant. Paul Birmingham also noted that the money is directed for renewal of school programs, publishing manuals and creating a performing knowledge evaluation system. The project will be implemented starting July 2006 and will last till May 2010.
