The national women’s football team of Moldova was trounced by Belgium 0-12 in the qualifying competition of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, IPN reports.
The hosts led by 5-0 after the first half. Cayman Janice and Wullaert Tessa scored most of the goals. Janice scored four goals, one of which from a penalty, while Tessa scored a hat-trick in the first half. The final score was set by Nadejda Kolesnichenko in the 84th minute, when she sent the ball in the own goal.
Moldova is to play two more matches away, against Portugal on November 24 and against Romania on November 28.
