The Government today approved a draft presidential decree by which Ana Vasilachi is appointed as deputy minister of defense, IPN reports.

Anterior Vasilachi earlier worked as deputy minister of labor, social protection and family. She will be in charge of the social matters, which is a very important aspect for the functioning of the National Army, as Minister of Defense Vitalie Marunuta also underlined.

The Government also accepted Igor Gorgan as a candidate for the post of head of the National Army General Staff and the dismissal of Vitalie Stoian from this post following his appointment to another post.

Dumitru Ursachi was discharged from the post of deputy minister of the interior. His place was taken by Serghei Diaconu, who will coordinate foreign cooperation and the reformation process.
