A 20-year-old woman was sentenced to seven years in prison for renting an apartment in Chisinau and leasing it out to 15 persons by swindle and abuse of trust. In about a month, she earned over 70,000 lei. When the lessees looked for her, she disappeared, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Prosecutor General’s Office. The woman is suspected of employing similar schemes in other districts of Chisinau. The other cases are being investigated. The sentence can be appealed to a higher court.
