The local general elections can be validated in all the country’s districts. President of the Central Election Commission Iurie Ciocan in a press briefing said the minimum voter turnout of 25% was passed in all the district constituencies by 4pm, IPN reports.

The voter turnout in the municipality of Chisinau was 30.6%, while in Balti – 32.2%.

The most active were the voters in Pocrovca village of Donduseni district, where 77% of those eligible have voted.

More than 13,000 persons were put on the additional voter rolls by 4pm.
