Voters are more active today compared to the election four years ago. By 4:00 PM, 1,114,940 voters had turned out, representing over 38% of the total registered voters. In the 2020 presidential election, the turnout by 4:00 PM was 33.3%, according to IPN.
According to the Central Electoral Commission, voter turnout in Chișinău municipality stands at 39.7%. In Bălți municipality, the participation rate exceeds 37.5%, while in Cahul municipality it approaches 32.1%. In UTA Gagauzia, by 4:00 PM, the voter turnout was 36.4%.
The gender distribution of voters nationwide is 54.1% women and 45.8% men.
