Voronin conferred “Stephan the Great” order on Russian officials secretly
Acting President of Moldova Mihai Ghimpu desecretized two decrees issued by former head of state Vladimir Voronin, whereby the Communist leader conferred the “Stephan the Great” order on Russian officials, Info-Prim Neo reports.
By decrees signed on December 11, 2001 and June 5, 2003, Vladimir Voronin awarded the “Stephan the Great” order to Army General Nikolai Patrushev, Major General Vaceslav Ushakov and former head of Russia's Foreign Information Service Sergei Lebedev, the presidential press service has said.
