Vladimir Voronin hopes Moldovan-Romanian Treaties will put an end to “Romanian-phobia”

Vladimir Voronin considers that between Moldova and Romania „ a confidence and sincere climate was set”, which will allow to conclude as soon as possible both Moldovan-Romanian Treaties, the Basic and on Frontier, appreciated as “crucial important”. According to presidential press report, regarding the meeting with many decision-making bodies, convened by the head of the state, Voronin said that conclusion of these two treaties would consolidate external policy immunity of Moldova and would represent „the most important external policy investment of Romania in Transnistrian conflict regulation and strengthening regional security in the Black Sea basin”. At the same time, Vladimir Voronin noted that once these two treaties are concluded, „propagandistic insinuations of Tiraspol on unavoidable inclusion of Moldova by Romania loose their ground. He also hopes that „Romanian-phobia will disappear, on which many speculate and create obstacles in relations between our peoples”.
