Vice president of the Democratic Party (PDM) Vladimir Cebotari announced the pillars on which the next government program of the party will be based. These are education, infrastructure and justice. The politician developed the issue in the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.
“The pillars are education, infrastructure and justice. Through them one should see much wider things than the building of roads or water supply systems. They should also see justice with public order and security for each citizen. These will be our key objectives,” stated the Democratic heavyweight.
Vladimir Cebotari noted pro-Moldova means real preoccupation with people’s problems. “It means focusing indeed on welfare and infrastructure and creating conditions for the people. (...) Being for Moldova does not mean being against it. Being for Moldova does not mean misleading the people. It means not dividing society. Pro-Moldova means you are not against anyone,” he stated.
As to the banking fraud, the vice president of the PDM said about 1.7 billion lei of the stolen funds was recovered. “About 400 million lei was recovered from the sale of a part of the assets of persons convicted for taking part in the fraud, like Veaceslav Platon,” noted Vladimir Cebotari.
In the National Assembly entitled “PDM For Moldova” that was held by the party in the Great National Assembly Square on October 21, the Democratic Party agreed the principles that will form the basis of its political program during the next few years.
