The first deputy chairman of the Democratic Party (PDM) Vlad Plahotniuc considers the Moldovan politics will gain more if it includes more and better political managers. As a result, Moldova will also gain benefits. The politician and businessman made such statements in an interview available on the website allmoldova.md, which was quoted by IPN.
“In politics, we need political persons with organizational skills, political managers. We will never develop as a state if we do not learn to organize ourselves and to be more efficient. I think we showed in the case of the PDM that many good things can be done by good organization, that the political arena shouldn’t be dominated only by speeches and that we must implement the initiated actions, think up long-term programs and be consistent in our acts,” stated Vlad Plahotniuc.
He noted that he entered politics for business-related purposes and enjoyed earlier a number of possibilities of becoming politician, but preferred to first gain sufficient experience. “Surely I didn’t enter politics in order to earn my living so. The real money is made outside politics. This applies to all the serious persons. I know they say that some enter politics poor and leave rich, but I do not form part of this category. Also, I do not allow important things, such as the country’s development, to pass by without becoming involved in dealing with the exiting problems and supporting the modernization. That’s why I became involved in politics, and I did it after many years of success in business,” said the politician.
He is convinced that politics is mainly team work that involves more than one party. “The objectives related to the country’s development and my determination remain unchanged. At political level, I will make effort to channel my energy into the further development of the PDM because I would like to make a modern and useful party close to the people of it, together with my colleagues,” said Vlad Plahotniuc in an interview centering primarily on his personal and family life.
