Vlad Filat says state institutions didn’t do their duty in Paciu case
Prime Minister Vlad Filat is waiting for the return from vacation of his colleagues from the ruling alliance so as to discuss the accidental killing of Sorin Paciu during boar hunting. “The state institutions didn’t do their duty in this case,” the Premier said in the January 10 meeting of the Government.
“No medical institution recorded this case. The register of the forestry company where the hunting took place cannot be found. As we were told, the register was transmitted to the Prosecutor General’s Office that is investigating this case, while the director of “Moldsilva” Agency Ion Lupu lied to me three times as to the participation of Prosecutor General Zubko in the hunting. A civil servant shouldn’t do so,” stated the Premier.
“It’s inadmissible not to be informed by Mister Lupu, who is my subordinate. It’s inadmissible for the President of Moldova to find out about this case from the press.”
According to Vlad Filat, all those involved must be penalized.
As regards the diploma of master of Minister of the Interior Dorin Recean, the Premier said that the minister will soon have to provide relevant explanations.
