The chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, acting Prime Minister Vlad Filat voiced hope that the consultations initiated by the head of state to identify a candidate for premiership will be dynamic, IPN reports.
After the March 20 meeting of the Government, Vlad Filat said that as any citizen of Moldova, he wants this process to end with the investiture of a new executive so as to ensure the efficient and stable work of the state institutions.
”I hope that we will overcome this situation of uncertainty as soon as possible and will return to the problems that must be solved in order to improve the people’s lives and to continue the European integration program,” said the Liberal-Democratic leader.
President Nicolae Timofti invited the three parties of the former ruling alliance to the first round of consultations for designating the Premier on March 20. The discussions with the PLDM start at 3pm, with the PL at 4pm, while with the PDM at 5pm.
