Socialist MP Vlad Batrîncea said that even if the situation in Parliament went out of control, the draft budgetary-fiscal policy, the state budget law and the state social insurance budget law for 2021 were given a first reading. He noted the opposition can propose a no confidence motion and can submit new relevant bills, IPN reports.

“Come with a no confidence motion, remove the Government and propose a new budget law and budgetary-fiscal policy law,” the MP stated in a news conference, calling on President-elect Maia Sandu to ensure a civilized dialogue as they are ready to negotiate and identify solutions.

The draft state budget law and draft state social insurance law for 2021 were adopted in the first reading, without being debated, in an atmosphere of chaos and altercations.
