Vlad Batrîncea: We are ready to form working group, but this should deal with constitution of majority

The Party of Socialists’ executive secretary Vlad Batrîncea said the PSRM is ready to form a working group, as the Bloc ACUM proposed, but this should deal with the constitution of a parliamentary majority, planning of the agenda and distribution of responsibilities in the state, such as the posts of Prime Minister and Parliament Speaker and the composition of the Cabinet. The issue was developed in the talk show “Politics of Natalia Morari” on TV8 channel, IPN reports.

“Not much time remained and we hope a lot that those from ACUM will calmly analyze the situation and will understand that this position will not be changed and snap elections will be thus announced. But the proposal of the party’s Council is very clear – to create a parliamentary majority and rule the Republic of Moldova,” stated the politician. He noted the Party of Socialists is ready to support the bills proposed by ACUM, except for the “Magnitski law”.

According to him, when an initiative is voted by 51 MPs, legally this is called a parliamentary majority. “We cannot understand why the Bloc ACUM makes a tragedy of the creation of this majority,” stated Vlad Batrîncea.

The MP added an eventual common agenda between ACUM and the Socialists could be written and signed so as to avoid interpretations. “We are not interested when someone wants to obtain control in the state and all the posts filled by Parliament in the first sittings and then would say that they have nothing in common with the Socialists,” he noted.
