Vitalie Dani and Constantin Moscovici become artists of people, as Natalia Gordienco and Mariana Sura – artists emeritus
The musicians Vitalie Dani and Constantin Moscovici have been conferred the honorific title “Artist of the people”. The presidential decree was published in Monitorul Oficial (Official Gazette) on Friday, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the decree, the awards are conferred “for special merits in developing and promoting music, intense concert activity and high artistic masterliness.”
President Vladimir Voronin has also conferred the honorific title “Artist Emeritus” to a number of people of art and journalists “for successes in the creation activity, for contribution to promoting the moral-spiritual values and for high masterliness.” Among them: the singers Natalia Gordienco and Mariana Sura, the soloists of the National Opera and Ballet Theater, Iurie Gasca and Maria Tonina, the musician Iulian Pusca, the artists of the Folk Dances Ensemble “Joc”, Vitalie Bujenita and Iana Diacenco, the actress of Vasile Alecsandri Theater from Balti, Ina Ilasciuc-Ungureanu, the scenery painter of the Puppet Theater “Licurici”, Angela Josan, the first conductor of Concertino ensemble, Eugeniu Negruta, the first conductor of the Chamber Choir of the Organ Hall, Ilona Stepan.
The title “Artist Emeritus” has been conferred to the presenters of the public broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova, Rusalina Russu, Veronica Panis, Vadim Stangaciu, and to the artist of the Symphony Orchestra of Teleradio-Moldova, Vasile Torgai.
