VinOpera: three days of outdoor classical music. Discover the program for the 7th edition and learn about the artists who will perform

The 7th edition of the VinOpera International Festival comes with two free concerts in Telita on September 14 and Bulboaca on September 15. According to the organizers, the National Philharmonic Orchestra "Sergei Lunchevich" will deliver a unique performance for the audience.

"The goal is to bring to the attention of the public, development partners, and central authorities the attractiveness of other locations in the Anenii Noi district, to give hope to the locals in the villages where VinOpera takes place that look, tourism is coming and to have the courage to think about tourism business, because tourists will come," says Cristina Frolov, president of the Constantin Mimi Foundation.

The gala performance at the Castel Mimi Wine Resort on September 6 will be attended by Alin Stoica, soloist of the Romanian Opera in Bucharest; baritone Andrei Jilihovschi, a Moldovan baritone and former soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow; Spanish tenor David Banos and Moldovan soloist of the Romanian Opera in Craiova, Mariana Bulicanu. The outstanding presence of the evening will be the soprano Elena Moshuc, who in 2019 won the trophy of the prestigious "Oscar della Lirica" competition, making her one of the world's most valuable sopranos.

More than 100 instrumentalists from the Symphony Orchestra of the National Opera and Ballet Theater "Maria Biesu," (TNOB) conducted by Dumitru Carciumaru, will accompany the soloists. On this occasion, the children's choir of the TNOB performed several pieces of classical music on the Eugen Doga pedestrian street, thus inviting passers-by to VinOpera.

"We always wanted VinOpera to be a model event. Magic will happen on stage with remarkable voices from Europe's leading stages. We will also present the Wine Vernissage, where the best wines from Castel Mimi will be on display, as well as selected wines from small producers, which we have taken on the role of promoting where there are many people present," says Cristina Frolov.

VinOpera - the first sustainable event in the Republic of Moldova, which has included elements of sustainability from the very first editions and, year by year, is becoming more environmentally friendly.

"We started with the train, encouraging spectators to choose this means of transportation, and as many as 500 cars stay home, reducing the carbon footprint in the atmosphere. We have eliminated plastic, and wine is now served only in glass. Additionally, we expanded the photovoltaic park to ensure that green energy fully powers the event. We also ensure free and easy access for people with disabilities and their companions," says Ala Samoilenco, Head of Marketing at Castel Mimi Wine Resort.

"VinOpera has a national impact because it promotes tourism in the Republic of Moldova and attracts tourists from abroad. We will have guests from Germany, Romania, and Ukraine. VinOpera is the embodiment of the best sustainable practices in Europe. It promotes inclusion and creates new jobs for young people and women, and we are glad that it is ours, taking place in Bulboaca," says Cristina Frolov.
