The Days of Chisinau will be staged in Vienna on June 23. The Chisinau City Hall said that by such activities, they aim to promote the Moldovan culture and traditions in the heart of Austria, IPN reports.
The event will take place in the concert hall Das-MuTh - Konzertsall in Augartenspitz Park. Artists and bands from Moldova will perform there, including master Eugen Doga, Brio Sonores, Municipal Orchestra “Camerata Chisinau”, Natalia Tanasiichuk, Vitalie and Cătălin Advahov.
Besides the captivating cultural-artistic program in Vienna, the authorities also plan to ensure an exchange of ideas and dialogue with the Moldovan diaspora. In this regard, representatives of the Chisinau City Hall will attend the event in order to learn the concerns and opinions of citizens and to provide information about the projects and programs implemented in Chisinau, the support program for young people and migrants, the assistance in starting businesses and other issues of interest to the compatriots.
“Such initiatives show once again the Chisinau City Hall’s commitment to the Moldovan diaspora and the impotence it attaches to the close relations with the Moldovan communities all over the world. This is also an occasion for celebrating the Moldovan unity and spirit, regardless of the whereabouts of each of us,” said mayor Ion Ceban.
