The team of the municipal councillor Victor Chironda runs for capital mayor’s office and for Chisinau municipal council on the platform of "New Force" (Forța Nouă) social-political movement. The announcement was made by Victor Chironda while he was introducing his team for the local elections on October 20, IPN reports.

"During our discussions, several parties came up with conditions that we deemed unacceptable. The only party that accepted our proposal without any conditions was the "New Force" social-political movement," declared Victor Chironda.

According to him, the election campaign will be financed from the electoral fund donations. Shortly, the campaign site will be launched on which all supporters of his team will be able to make donations to the electoral fund.

"Thus, me and my team will run for the City Hall and Chisinau Municipal Council on the platform of "New Force" social-political movement, as politically unaffiliated candidates. Our vision for Chisinau is clear and feasible, we want a city that offers people opportunities, comforts and safety”, said Victor Chironda.

The "New Force" social-political movement was founded on May 28, 1997. Currently, the chairman of the movement is former defense minister Valeriu Pleșca.
