The monthly state allowances paid to rehabilitated victims of political repression from 1917-1990 will rise by 250 lei to 1250 lei. The increase is provided for in a draft drawn up by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, IPN reports.

According to information presented by the National Social Insurance House, these allowances are raised by about 6 thousand people.

The increases will be allocated retroactively, with their application from January 1.

Therefore, the cost of realization of the project will entail the allocation of additional financial means from the state budget through the social insurance budget in the amount of 18.3 million lei. The necessary financial means have been budgeted.
